The magic of new beginnings
After a fire burnt the building to the ground in 1937, only the walls remained. And in 2024, we turned these old walls into something completely new: the Brondstott (English: the Fire Site), where the history of the building is reflected in both the name and the architecture. Wood, fire, stone and coal create the character of this hotel, where a tangible sense of the past is.

We—Alex and Astrid and our daughters Ella, Lotta and Frida—love a change and a challenge. And that’s why we have brought our dream of owning a farm to life. With the Brondstott we have not only created a home for ourselves, but an oasis of peace for guests who are looking for tranquillity and peace.
